Deposit policy: In order to hold the date for you we will take a credit card number, however since we prefer to be paid with cash at the end of the fishing trip we will not run it at the time of booking.  Keep in mind that your trip is not booked until a credit card number has been taken. The only time we will run your credit card would be in one of the following three scenarios.

  •  The customer cancels the fishing trip within 48 hours of the start time of the trip. (Pending weather is not a factor/at the discretion of Phill’s Guide Service). %50 of the trip fee is charged.  The fee will be waived if we can find another customer to take that time slot.
  •  The customer cancels the fishing trip within 24 hours of the start time of the trip. (Pending weather is not a factor/at the discretion of Phill’s Guide Service). %100 of the trip fee is charged.  The fee will be waived if we can find another customer to take that time slot.
  • The customer asks to charge the payment on their card at the end of a fishing trip.

* 3% charge to cover processing fees will be added to all credit card transactions.

Half Day Trips:  (morning or afternoon) These trips usually run around four to four and a half hours, or until we catch our limit. We can always continue to fish after catching our limit but will need to practice catch and release and/or fish for a different species of fish.  We specialize in Crappie, White Bass, Hybrid Striper, and Catfish.  Please make sure to let us know at the beginning of the trip if you would like to either catch and release, donate your catch to a local needy family or charity, or if you would like us to clean and send you home with fillets.

What to bring:

A good attitude, sunscreen, a camera, and a small to medium sized cooler with whatever drinks or snacks you would like to bring. We can provide a cooler with advanced notice. Make sure to dress for the weather also.

License Requirements:

All anglers on the boat who are 17 years of age or older need a valid Texas fishing license. You can easily purchase your licenses online at the Texas Parks and Wildlife online license sales website (click here to get your license). You can also download the new Texas Parks And Wildlife Outdoor Annual App on your phone and purchase it there (that is what we do).
